Strengths: The frame is a hardtail when going up, or sprinting out of the saddle - and then turns in to a fully when going down, and you don't even have to use, the easy to reach, lockout handle.
The frame has helped me cut of serious time on all of my favorite tracks, even the ones that normally favours a hardtail.Weaknesses: NoneBottom Line: If you have ever hesitated in getting a fully instead of your hardtail, wait no more - I've converted from a LOOK 986 19 lb hardtail to a 24 lb Pronghorn fully and I've gotten a hole lot faster + the ride is so more comfortable - so why wait. Get a hold of one for a test-ride, and be prepared for a surprice.

Strengths: Climbs like a demon. You would never know that there was a shock underneath you when you are going uphill. The shorter than normal chainstays make for a fast handling bike that screams through tight singletrack and allows for quick adjustments when the trail gets tight and sketchy. Weighs far less than many other full banger XC rigs (my 20.5in frame with Sram XO and the Pronghorn 1490 wheelset is 25 lbs) looks super trick. I am a endurance racer, this frame is also perfect for long hours in the saddle. Basically this is the best XC race bike I've ever ridden.Weaknesses: Retail pricing on this frame is for the serious only. All of your friends and fellow racers will now hate you for having a tricker bike than they have. You may go faster than before and have to quit your day job to ride this bike all day. Explaining the suspension design and numbers on the frame to everyone else will be something that you will be doing in your sleep.Bottom Line: Go get one. Ride it. Race it. Keep it in the bedroom and rub it with a cloth diaper. Available at www.mpgear.com
