Strengths: seems to be very good so far, nothing has broken. VERY CHEEP, i am a student and that is important. it also has a relatively low gear making uphills especially lazy.Weaknesses: tires seem too thin and wear out quickly (200miles) also the front shock bottomed out on a 3ft drop. teh preload adjusting on the front fork is a joke but thats ok because im not !that! extreme. it is also pretty heavy at about 35lbs.Bottom Line: this is a great bike for the money. i bought mine for $290 and i dont regret it (because i could resell it for higher) it is a good beginer bike and thats exactly what i am. this bike has gotten me into riding and now i crave to get back on the trails.

Strengths: 2005 model. Cheap full suspension MTB with a strong frame, average components and disc brakes.Weaknesses: BAD Fork!!! Hopped 6 steps and the front suspension bottomed out bigtime. Stock tires wear really fast. Rode once a month for most of the 6 months I've had this bike and the tires are just about gone!Bottom Line: Its a great bike for a 1st dual suspension. If you are buying it to use for light off-road, you'll have no problems so long as you treat it ok (no big drops) and keep it serviced within reason.

Strengths: This is a review for the '05 model. Its a good bike, the frame is sturdy and lasts. Cheap dualie for the price, disc brakes, 24 speed and looks awesome. Its a great bike to ride and worth the money (dont buy it second hand without a warranty).Weaknesses: The rear suspension will leak and start to blow if you abuse it too much. This happened 3 months after I bought it, but it got replaced with an RST-22A and that comes with preload so its pretty good. The brakes start to squeal afer a while and there are some changing problems with the gears but that can be fixed. Overall nothing to serious.Bottom Line: Consider buying it if its a first dual,or as a cheap XC, but if not look away. It lasts if used properly (not abused through rough terrain and drops or the rear shock will start to leak). It can go quite fast but a bit on the heavy side. I would recommend this to anyone who doesnt want to spend a heap on a dual. It is the cheapest out there and the best bit - comes with disc brakes so theres nothing bad about that!

Strengths: It is not that much money for a full suspension Mountain Bike. It also has disk brakes and 24 Gears It also has Shimano Acera deraileurs and Shimano Easy Fire Shifters.
Weaknesses: You cannot drop in or do any major air tricks. This product does not come with clipless pedals or a good saddle. It is a saddle mongoose puts on all of their Full Suspension Mountain Bikes.Bottom Line: A great starter Bike

Strengths: Cheap! looks coolWeaknesses: weak frame, heavy, poor wheels keep on bending every time i ride. If the chain comes off you can really get it jammed between the frame and rings can't fit tires bigger than 2.2 rubs up on the frame.Bottom Line: it was a good beginner bike and worth it for the money but seeing that after a year it's due replacement it's worth it to spend more and get something that'll last.

Strengths: disc brakes, price and everything else on bikeWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: this is a great bike that can stand up to a real beating
{2m+ drop offs}and nothing has broken yet. it is an excellent all purpose bike that is great for downhill riding but light enough to be used as an xc bike as well it's a real head turner and
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start downhill riding but has a limited budget

Strengths: The performance is outstanding for the money.
Just great fun to ride.
What else can I say, nothing has broken and it has exceeded expectations.Weaknesses: Front end bobs a bit when you get out of the saddle. I have adjusted my technique to get less weight on the front.
Just a little heavy.Bottom Line: After agonising for months between hardtail and full suspension, I finally decided on this bike. Similar specs to the Giant Yukon at the same sort of price (who says you get better specs for the same price in a hardtail). I think it is about 2kg heavier than the Yukon, but I can loose that 2kg anyway.
This bike is not a DH or a freestyle bike and at this price you can't expect it. If you have $1500 to spend on a bike don't look at it, but if you have $500 and you want some fun this it it. It is a great bike for the rider who wants the comfort of FS at a reasonable price. The only thing I will upgrade is the forks if and when they wear out.
I dont think if I had spent 3 times more on a comp bike, I would be 3 times happier!
I take away one Chili on the overall for the weight and front forks.
