Marin Mount Vision,Hayes Stroker Carbon,Cane Creek Zono Wheels,Fox fork/RP23 rear!
Bottom Line:
These bike ratings are kinda funny, everyones bike is best because, thats the bike they purchased! Not in this case.I demoed a Mount Vision and my long search was over. This bike climbs awesome and has a overall really light, quick feel. The innovative rear quad link design works increddible with the Fox shock,5 inch travel feels more like 6!If you are looking for a XC bike that can handle what a AM bike can,and even some downhill stuff, this is the one.

Strengths:
Very nicely spec'ed bike. The Mt. Vision 5.8 is a fantastic machine. By far, the best full suspension design on the market. Very small bump compliant with a little bit of horizontal travel before moving into a very progressive vertical path. The bike goes over just about anything and can take on any jump/drop that you might find on a XC/AM trail. And yes, it really does climb better than a hardtail on any sort of bumpy climb. Very efficient bike. Winner of two different MTB of the year awards from two different mags - I think that says a ton!
Weaknesses:
None that I can really think of. Wish the bike wasn't grey - come color would be nice.
