Strengths:    Good Solid ride.

Weaknesses:    none so far

Bottom Line:
My first foray into Full Suspension and I couldn't be happier. As expected the ride compared to my hardtail is so much smoother - the Haro glides. Buying the bike as I did I spent about 60% of retail. I ride fire trails and singletrack, nothing crazy or overly technical (for now.) Buying a bike is tough, until you ride it a bit, on your favorite trails and new ones, you just don't know - now I know, the Shift R7 is a keeper.

2004 Haro XLS R7 vs. 2005 Haro Shift R5

These are basically the same bike just branded differently. The frame is slightly different on the '05s. I could not find much good info on the new Haros online. Thanks for your help. 2004 Haro XLS R7 (lists at $1700, I think I can get it for ~$1400) -better components -same frame geometry - ... Read More »
