Strengths:    Light, Fast, seat/head angle if very comfortable, great price for this frame & component set. Everything works well together. Most value for money in this category. Weighed in at 26lbs at LBS.

Weaknesses:    Have read negative reviews on Manitou Skareb folk. Nothing to complain about after 10 rides.

Bottom Line:
A great bike for XC at this price/package. Highly recommended. It seems Devinci does some good work !

Strengths:    Amazing product for the price. Great XT rear derailer. They give you a nice saddle for those longer rides. Climbs like a hardtail and great going down hill.

Weaknesses:    The Avid 5 V brakes are weak but with disc ready wheels its easy to fix. The shifters are only deore but easy upgrade to a LX or Xt in store for a little extra cash.

Bottom Line:
Great bike for a even better price. But sadly select devinci models are avaliable in the US.

Arrowhead 135

The Arrowhead135 is underway. Unofficial updates are Kevin Breitenbach of Fairbanks, Tim Berntson (Anchorage) and JayP (Wyoming) were all into Melgeorges before 3pm. I believe there were others with them, but not sure. Looks like it's a really fast course this year.Read More »

Arrowhead 135

There are a few Alaskans headed down to Minnesota this weekend for the Arrowhead 135. Not the greatest snow year for the race, but it looks like it will go off just fine anyway. Best of luck to all of the Alaskans, especially to Tim Berntson and Kevin Breitenbach. Both of them have a good chance of ... Read More »
