Strengths:
Solid suspension, Feel comfortable going down hill.
Weaknesses:
Handle Bars too wide. Comes with pedal cages.
Similar Products Used:
Gary Fisher Wahoo.
Bike Setup:
Avid Juicy 3 brakes, SRAM x5 drive train, Manitou Radium R rear shock, Rock Shox tora 302 Front Shock. Took cages off on first ride. Now have Shimano Clipless pedals.
Bottom Line:
No XC Bike should come with pedals with cages. Overall, the bike is a good entry level bike. The biggest problem is going through technical trees with the wide handlebars. The quality is solid and everything works. Value rating 4 b/c of the pedals. Overall rating 4 b/c of the handlebars.
Good bike for cross country. The way the rear suspension is set up, it looks like it could take more abuse than I have given it.
