Strengths:    Used for both road and off road. A very versatile strong and comfortable frame that is blisteringly quick. Bottom bracket is approx 306 mm which means I'm not hitting rocks with the pedals on the more rockier tracks. Geometry is spot on for normal cross country rides and the rear carbon seat stays work to keep you comfortable on the longer rides. Weight about 24 lbs.

Weaknesses:    I initially had a marin indian fire trail which was great on the road but with a lower bottom bracket was limited off . After 6 months the head-tube fractured so I was offered this frame. Touch wood, there are no weaknesses on this one to date and I am glad that I took the option even if it is an older model.

Bottom Line:
Great bike, both on an off road. Thank you Two Wheels! (Andy)who always give good service.

Bike Setup:   I have had to swap my Marin bits over to this frame which is Fox float 100 fork, driven by stylo front cassette, xo rear derailer and x9 shifters which are so much smoother than the X7's, WTB Silverado saddle, Marin seat post bar and FSA stem, fulcum red metal 5's wheels with no problems to date. Love it.

Strengths:    Weight, rigidity, component quality.

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
This is my first owned MTB so i cannot compare it to previous bikes, but it does feel a perfect fit, very quick on single track, climbs very quickly, i've used it in a 3 day x/country stage race and it held up very well. It is well put together and the Maverick SC32 sucks up any nonsense with ease! Very versatile as a fast XC hardtail, and again the fork allows me to play where most hardtails cannot so bridges some of the gap between h/tail and full suss bikes. All in I am very happy with this bike!!

Strengths:    Lightweight and ridged but most of all ideal geometery for both XC racing and longer more relaxed full-day rides (mainly thanks to the comforting flex in carbon seat stays).

Weaknesses:    None so far.

Bottom Line:
An absolute blast! I was concerned that the XC racer breeding of the bike might be a little harsh (compared to my S-C Blur) but it was a perfect balance of point and shoot geometry when required combined with more forgiving feel when fatigue sets in on the longer rides. The latter maybe due to my going for the Race option with carbon seat stays - recommended. No need to comment on the climbing as it is second to none in speed and agility. On the singletracks the bike responds exactly to any rider input although there is a little bounce from back wheel at higher speeds. This may be due to me getting used to hardtail once again though. I initially thought the forks were a little too much for the frame but glad of the extra travel which allows more room for error on the rougher downhill sections. Have to mention also that the Race in white with the black carbon seat stays looks the absolute business as well.
Overall, this bike is what hardtail xc bikes are all about - responsive, fast and most of all totally rewarding!
