Strengths:    Everything!!!!!!!!!!!! This bike totally rocks. I'm not sure what Single track were on about in their review the head angles are awesome never felt so in control on any bike.
This is the best bike I've ridden by a long way Light, fast, strong and forgiving to such an extent that I've sold my full sus stumpy as the Mamtor ticks every box and then some. Climbs like a mountain goat and the descends like a demon. getting more air on this than ever.
This truly is the holy grail. A bike for every situation from xc racing to shredding it down hill

Weaknesses:    Not one. This is the bike of champions

Bottom Line:
Do yourself a favor and get one of these, you wont regret it.

Date Reviewed: July 3, 2009

Strengths:    Quite light and stiff for a Ti Frame; Tough and great geometry for 120mm Fork; Great for climbing and slack enough head angle for fast descent; Nice/neat welding and details on drop out + crud mounts on downtube

Weaknesses:    Not much except may be lacking a detachable hanger (although Ti bikes don't really need it as the XTR bolt will break first - not that I have tried that theory yet)

Bottom Line:
Brought this bike for Winter XC use (+ want to beat my fellow biking companions on climbs). My local trail is Epping Forest in London. UK which is quite flat and consist of mainly smooth (sometimes muddy) single tracks. Mamtor is perfect for it since the whole bike built up to less than 24lb (size large) and it has plenty of mud clearance. The head angle fits the 120mm Fox F series fork very well. The frame is very cheap (for Ti) and well made and I also like the old school straight tubes with lots of details (drop out, crud bosses, neat welding etc.).

Just took it up to Helvellyn in the Lakes and Whinlatter Altura trail and the geometry cope surprising well in step rocky descent. Not as fast as the Whyte 46 coming down but a lot less pain going up.
