Strengths:    great frame, strong, reasonably light, good graphics
spec not the best but ive upgraded most of it now, disc compatable

Weaknesses:    not gud for xc, its a dj fframe anywaybut the spec is more suited to xc than more demanding riding.

Bottom Line:
good value but spec not suitable for dj/fr, my setup is now though, get it if you cant afford better models, then upgrade it as you go along, the frame is virtually the same as the yzo but with virtical dropouts

Strengths:    Descent disc brakes. Great paint job and graphics.

Weaknesses:    This bike is great...if your idea of fun is trying to ride an anvil up the side of a mountain. And please dont run over any twigs, the fork doesn't travel that far.

Bottom Line:
This bike is crap. People save your money. Scott is a great company but they obvisouly focused their attention on their high end products for their re-entery into the American market. This bike fell apart. Literally. And dont even get me started on how heavy it is. Cliimbing on this thing is next to impossible. Hell even street riding in the big ring is hard work.

The first week I had it the back rim bent. The first time i took it on the trails the seat fell off, the chain fell off and the front breaks locked so bad I had to take them back to the shop to get fixed.

By the second week the break cables wore the paint of the head tube and the chain started to rust.

Halfway thru the third week I took it back to Danzizen and Quigley and traded it in for a Cannondale Prophet.

Now thats a great bike....
