Strengths:    the frame looks very well and stiff for freeride

Weaknesses:    everything except the frame

Bottom Line:
very cheap bike, not worth buying it, i spent a lot money to replace the components... but if you can have only the frame, it may be a good purchase

Strengths:    Great Octagon frame, very stiff (looks good too). The bike is Fast and easy to ride, both deraillers are good, smooth and shift well. The mechanical disc brakes are very nice and really work well (my first disc brakes I really like them). The stock wheels and tires are nice.

Weaknesses:    The seat is hard and not the best shape made. The shocks are weak (I will be upgrading them soon). The chain seems to flail around a bit when you get off road or take a jump (could put some protective covering on the frame).

Bottom Line:
Nice bike, pleasant, fun and easy to ride. A good price for the set up you get - good solid components (except as mentioned - thus I'll be upgrading the seat and the forks soon). Not a bike for hard core off roaders (no back and a weak front suspension), but good for most riders. Overall a good deal.

Strengths:    strong frame.. good grip.. derailleurs are good (alivio rear and acera front) gd enough for me. the brakes are good too.

Weaknesses:    the seat suxs, other than that its all good. the frame is a little small for me, well thats the only size avaliable for that model in that shop. but cause no hindrance or whatsoever, just that it looks small for me.

Bottom Line:
its a nice bike for the price. got it because i got a budget so oh well..you get what u pay for..good bike to begin with for mild xc. oh yeah, the front shocks adjustment doesn't seem to make any difference..its suntour btw, so can't expect much from it. if ya have any questions drop an email? i try out what ever u ask (something that is reasonable, dun expect me to jump off some cliffs) then i will get back to you and tell ya how i feel about it yeah?

Strengths:    frame is very stiff, verygood to jump and make wheelies, the rims are good,no problems there.

Weaknesses:    well.. the crankset just plain sucks, it's good if you stay on the road.. but once you go jumping with this thing.. it die's :p the fork isn't good, cheap thing, you better get a new one :p

Bottom Line:
well i'm using this bike for 1year now, it's a good bike..altough i'm going to chanche allot on it:p to make it beter for freeride.. if you got more money than 500, well then go buy a scott YZ0 or limited ..if not buy this one, like me, and go work to buy new stuff for it!
