Strengths:    solid and reliable. very responsive and well controled. brakes are perfect - makes you confident.

Weaknesses:    original tires don't always hold on loose ground. the gears needs some tuining from time to time. 27 speeds would've been better.

Bottom Line:
I enjoyed this bike since day one. it deals with every terrain and shows no remorse. had no problems with only very minimal care. as a solo rider I have no concerns regarding the bike, as it shows time after time it can bear with anything: mud, dust, gravel, thicket, dropoffs etc. certainly a trusty all-around model.
very well equipped and excellent performance for an entry level bike.

Strengths:    Light, Agile, Strong

Weaknesses:    Price. Seat. 1 water bottle capability.

Bottom Line:
This is my first real Mtb bike and so far so good. Rear brake did start making a sudden grinding noise. I will need to get that looked at but other than that it seems like a great well balanced bike.

Strengths:    Frame is strong, it has taken every trail I've done so far. Brakes work, but are kind of squeaky. Shifting is smooth.

Weaknesses:    Its pretty heavy and the rims and fork aren't too strong.

Bottom Line:
If you are looking for a good all-around bike, this is definitely one to consider.

Strengths:    Versatility, value and component mix

Weaknesses:    Crap fork, heavy

Bottom Line:
This is the first mountain bike I've ridden hard, and it hasn't disappointed. Nothing has broken or given me issues, and I take it out for 10 or 15 mile rides three or four times a week on intermediate-difficulty trails. My experience is on the road and track, so I have a tendency to push pretty hard. The Aspect 45 has been more than adequate as I was getting used to pounding over roots and rocks at speed.
The only real weakness (if you don't mind the weight) is the SR Suntour fork. I'm in the process of trading it out now because any serious amount of riding will destroy it in months, if not weeks.

Strengths:    Everything about this bike is awesome, have not complaints, I've put it to the test and its handled everything perfectly

Weaknesses:    The tires, and the chain. Broke the chain twice on the first couple of rides then upgraded to a better one and it hasn't missed a beat yet. As for the tires there good on hard packed surfaces but when it comes to anything else they tend to slip.

Bottom Line:
This bike is my first mountain bike, I wanted to go with a full suspension but couldn't pass us the deal I got. This bike is perfect for what I use it for. This bike is perfect for someone who is just getting into mountain biking and doesn't want to spend alot for a good bike.

Strengths:    Frame geometry, hydraulic disk brakes, good components and looks good! Super fast on the trails and extremely versatile

Weaknesses:    Scott Ozon 2.0 tires are terrible. No grip on turns and wear down really fast.

Bottom Line:
I like it! Comes ready to ride out of the box, but expect to be disappointed with the tires. Scott makes some really good bikes and this one is no exception.
