Rock Lobster Custom Team Tig S.L. Single Speed XC Hardtail

4/5 (1 Reviews)

Product Description

Rock Lobster has been building single speed mountain bike frames for nearly 20 years, probably longer than anyone currently in buisiness. Rock Lobster was one of the first to take single speeding seriously and build a dedicated frame for racing single speed class since 1987.The Team Tig S.L. single speed shares all the features of it's geared twin and also is available in a disc version ( with R.L.'s own proprietary discmount that eliminates the need for an eccentric bottom bracket.)

Strengths:    Built purely for singlespeed x-country use. High and steep front end to keep you over the bars for the teeth gritting climbs.

Weaknesses:    A few issues with rear adjusters and tight tyre clearance.

Bottom Line:
I love this bike! It is a great handling machine and i have used it for general commuting to 40 mile offroad alldayers. Issues with tyre clearance and the slightly pissed rear adjuster that makes punctures an hassle! Super cool TANGE Ultrastrong tubing which makes for a nice ride quality.
