Product DescriptionThe Olaf is either a single speed or a fixed gear beauty with head-turning fork crown flair. Whether threading the canyons of Manhattan or yawping across the rolling farm roads of Missouri, the Olaf can deliver stripped-down single-gear transcendence.
The Olaf's specially designed sea serpent rear dropout — homage to the carvings that adorned the bows of Viking exploration longships — features angled slots. Unlike the horizontal slots on a track frame (the starting point for many a fixed), the Olaf's angled slots allow you to keep the rim aligned with brake pads, even when swapping chain rings and cogs. A built-in bottle opener reminds you that Vikings liked a drop with their adventure, too.
Named after Northfield's St. Olaf College situated across from the river-front downtown, the Rawland Olaf embodies the unflinchingly high quality for which its namesake college is renowned.
