Strengths:    Solid feel, horizontal dropout, good welds, plenty of build up options

Weaknesses:    Paint, It could be improved with a few layers of clear coat. Weight, definetly not the lightest frame out there (this will just make you stranger though).

Bottom Line:
So far so good! I was looking for an inexpensive single speed frame, and this fit the bill. It is straight, tracks well, and feels well balanced. The geometry fits me and my riding style well.
You'll definetly need to use a Chain Tug if running SS.
Other than that, if I need to replace it for any reason, I'll probably buy another one.

Possible upgrades from Origin 8 Spy 26" SS

I am thinking of possible frame upgrades to my current Origin 8 Spy 26" SS. I have looked at the Surly Troll and the Voodoo Bokor. I've also looked at other frames in this price range. I'm just not sure if these frames are enough of an upgrade to justify the cost or even an upgrade at all. Do I just ... Read More »
