Strengths:    Nice to ride. Seems quite well balanced. Reasonable components. I had a good price at the shop. £700

Weaknesses:    I haven't found any as yet, but I think the hubs and crankset will be upgraded first.

Bottom Line:
I've done about 400 miles (a lot of it off road) on this bike so far and haven't had any problems. I specifically wanted a hardtail for training/keeping fit and this bike fits the bill. If and when anything breaks, I'll probably upgrade components. It's a good XC bike. Good value, quite light and seems strong.

G3 powertap problem

Hi, this is a bit off topic for a mountainbike forum, but hey! My road bike has a powertap g3 and i need to change the battery. I have taken off the cap, with the special tool, but for the life of me cannot get the battery housing to slide off. The narrow edge to the special tool is now mangled! Any ... Read More »

12x150 Hadley Axle - Install w/ Intense G3 dropouts for Uzzi VP (951/M9/SS/socom/M6)?

I just made the conversion from a 10x135 rear wheel to a 12x150. I ordered and installed the G3 150 thru dropouts and a Hadley rear axle, but when I installed the axle it was only catching a few threads on the nut. Cadabra G3 Magic Link for lighter people

I was wondering if there are any people around that have the newest G3 Magic Link on their Cadabra. I read several times that for lighter people it's hard to get the desired amount of sag, and that the ride felt quite a bit stiffer compared to the G2 Magic Link. I'm around 150lbs, but i'm not sur ... Read More »
