a Cross Country Rider
from montreal,quebec,canadaDate Reviewed: November 5, 2006
Strengths: the frame is very stiff and sloped witch makes it an excellent climbing machine. it came with mavic cross ride wheels, juicy five disc brakes, ritchey components, i beam seat, marzocchi bomber fork with lock out and hutchison scorpion kevlar. it is a steal for the price with that much high quality equipement. The bike is super responsive in single track, very precise. It is not made for d/h it is a pure x-country bike. The frame is the same as the exc 1.0 witch sells for 2400$.Weaknesses: the only probleme i had with the bike is the ibeam seat came loose and i can't tighten the bolt any more ???Bottom Line: for an excellent hardtail x-country that won't brake the bank, you can't beat this one.
