Strengths: The frame is incredible - almost totally neutral. Flies uphill and flies down. Point and shoot. It handles all kinds of terrain and the back end has wonderful compliance.Weaknesses: NoneBottom Line: It's brilliant. The frame is 100% upgradeable, if you have a mind for that kind of thing. Highly recommended. Great fun.

Strengths: Strong, LOOKS and LightWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: For the price, Engineered & quality Giant bikes are awesome. The frame feels like a full suspension bike on the hardest setting with the hardtail in the mix for going fast up or down the trails. Giant should make this frame more stiffer without gaining weight and it will be perfect.

Strengths: frame, fork, crank, wheelsWeaknesses: brake levers, grip,Bottom Line: Really great bike with a frame that suck up quite every vibrations. The fork is a little heavy but it worth the strength, precise stering and with the terralogic in the fork, this is the absolute efficient bike. Try one if your looking for a stiff hardtail and if your looking for performance.

Strengths: Good component mix. The little touches are nice such as the race face bar and stem, hutchinson tires, and Time pedals. The frame is very stiff when sprinting, but handles well in the rough as the carbon flexes.Weaknesses: Its a little short in the top tube. I rode a specialized 17" and now this XTC in 17". I feel a little bunched up on it, but I have a longer than usual torso for someone who rides a 17".Bottom Line: Bottom line is that when Giant makes a carbon bike, they do a good job of it. I have raced their carbon road bike and now their carbon XTC and I love them both. Though I wish that I could have sprung for the XTC 1 with full XTR, this bike is perfect for what I am doing. Took a bad crash today and its still perfect (except for that scratch..go figure).
