Strengths: everythingWeaknesses: nothingBottom Line: this bike has everything a mtber should ever need pedals are amazing and the quality of fuji is amazing. fuji's slogan should be head and shoulders above the rest. there are no down sides to this bike. do not be convinced by the first viewer, he is one in a million that will have a problem with a fuji bike. dont spend extra money on a full suspension, a jamis, or any other kind of bike. buy a fuji and you'll be happy for the rest of your life.

Strengths: For an ol'd feller I had to rely on the knowledge and experience of the bike dealer. He steered me right! I absolutley love this bike's responsive, zippy, attitude.Weaknesses: The only prob I have had is with the proper adjustment of the rear gear set. A bit touchy. Would appreciate any advice from others with similar rig.Bottom Line: Would I do it again? You betcha!

Strengths: Decent parts spec, disc brakes, weight for priceWeaknesses: Factory fork spring, short cockpitBottom Line: For retail price this bike is an excellent value. Deore drive train with LX rear derailleur and hayes mechanical disc brakes. The cockpit seemed short for a 19 inch bike, added a rise bar and this has made it fit much better. The Axel fork comes with a medium spring. I am 195 lbs and was bottoming out, upgraded to firm spring and no longer bottoms out. Still use all three inches of travel, not sure if changing to four inch would help. Going from a heavy full suspension to a 26 pound hardtail was a change, but has helped improve my race times. Would highly recommend this bike for any entry level racer or someone looking for a second bike.
