Strengths: Comfort, decent shifters and derailleursWeaknesses: Poor build quality, horrible suspension fork, very cheap headset, bottom bracket, crankset.Bottom Line: Bike seemed like a very good buy ~ LX & Deore components at around $500. Turns out that everything on the bike you can't see at first glance is complete garbage. Within four months of very moderate riding (around 200 miles) and two very mellow cyclocross races, the bike is falling apart. The suspension fork is shot (at Suntour for warranty replacement right now), the suspension seatpost is stripped, the headset is toast, and the bottom bracket is shot (bent spindle and bad bearings). To make matters worse, the bottom bracket shell in the frame is stripped from improper installation of the Chin Haur garbage bottom bracket.
I'm off to Performance tonight to see about returning this bike. Too bad, because it had been really fun to ride over the first 150 or so miles.
