Strengths:    This bike is smooth and has great handling, the price was good for this strong durable bike.

Weaknesses:    If you are a hardcore mountain bike rider, this bike is a little to heavy for major jumps,it is only good for riding downhill

Bottom Line:
Get this bike if you like cruising off or on road, if not this bike is not for you.

Date Reviewed: October 18, 2007

Strengths:    The bike has nice components. It is fairly comfortable and great for those getting into the sport. Police is branned all over the bike.

Weaknesses:    The fork could use a little more travel. The bike is more sutable for campus ridding. Does not feel like a mountain bike.

Bottom Line:
If you can find one of these bikes for dirt cheap like my brother did, get it. If you want to pretent like your a police officer, get it. This is a great bike; however, remember that it is ment for patroling the streets and catching the bad guys. It is not build to be doing serious mountain biking.

They look awesome and top shelf stuff. I wonder if a non-police unit ... Read More »

Police Bike Patrol/Input needed

We're considering a 29er for our new patrol bike. I work at a VA hospital, so 99% of our patrol area will be paved roadways and parking lots. Does the 29er have any merit in this regard-or should we stick to the "tried and true" 26" wheel. Also, does anybody make a downhill-style rim for 29ers ( ... Read More »
