Strengths: well built frame, great deal for what I paid,(and yes, thirty dollars is correct)Weaknesses: cheaper components, terrible seat, stock pedals were garbage(expected)Bottom Line: I bought this bike as a weekend junker, with the intent of trashing it the first time out on the trails, much to my surprise, everything but the crappy stock pedals and front tire and tube held up very well, and I am not a small dude.
I retired it as a trail bike, put some smooth rubber, rack, and a new saddle on it, and ride it back and forth to work when the northwestern Pennsylvania weather allows for it.
Favorite Trail: Sidewalk

Strengths: Inexpensive

Unforgiving seatBottom Line: As a hybrid-esque mountain bike that never leaves the sidewalk this isn't a bad rig, even the street/hybrid tires suggest that. But the tough seat screams MTB, and if you're adventurous you can toss on some knobby tires (but it can't handle 2') and try your luck. The frame is very flimsy and transmits EVERY bump, imperfection, and harshness to a back-breaking ride. The front fork is bouncy, and the stock tires are downright frightening on any real terrain precluding its use for anything but on road and grass. The shifters and derailleurs are atually reliable (they're Acera) if adjusted properly. The biggest problem is that the bike is very prone to chain suck due to a widened gap between the frame and crank that fits the chain perfectly. There are better and tougher bikes than this for the same price.
