Strengths:    Even at stock it's very light weight sub 25lbs, nice light aluminum frame. The frame has a nice black glossy finnish with cool graphics. I'm 190 lbs and it's holding up well this year.

Weaknesses:    none so far, if you wanted to lose some lbs maybe a new wheel set but this is a great first MTB or for me the perfect trainer. lot of fun

Bottom Line:
I bought this new from performance it's a 2005. Which is diferent from the pic above. It wieghts in just under 25 lbs. Climbs very well and it's fast. I love the stock continental pro explorer tires and the scareb fork is great on down hills and over rocks and roots. Good handeling, quick recovery and light enough to jump just about anything i've seen. It's my trainer hardtail and it'd been everything i could come to expect from Fuji and for a mid priced XC hardtail. I'm very happy with this one.

Date Reviewed: August 31, 2004

Strengths:    Weight, handling, looks good. This bike handles like a dream in the rough stuff. This bike weighs just under 23 lbs.

Weaknesses:    None so far.

Bottom Line:
Even if you are not a racer this bike will make you one. This bike makes you want to hammer. The frame is very stiff and it climbs like a goat. Haven't used for very long but first impressions are very good. If you are looking for a hardtail rocket this is the bike for you.
I will post a follow up down the line.
