Strengths: Extremely light carbon frame, responsive and rigid, great specced components with the Ritchey WCS outshining itself -fantastic stuff. Shimano's XT is flawless.
Weaknesses: Rock Shox SL Teams are light, but do flex in a lateral direction, UST tubless rear (XT wheel with Schwalbe Racing Ralph) goes flat every week -Possibly due to bike shop setup.Bottom Line: This bike is extremely light. I am very impressed with the rigidity of the frame and the responsiveness when hammering in and out of the seat. The Ritchey WCS components are absolutely fantastic and the WCS seat is probably the most comfortable race seat I have placed my bum on. I ride the 19" frame, as I am 5'11", and it fits like a glove. The Shimano XT works flawlessly, and the Schwalbe Racing Ralph tyres are amazingly low in rolling resistance. They are a surprisingly fast tyre.
The Rock Shox SL Team's do have a bit of flex in a lateral direction, but in the direction that matters most (vertical), they are solid. Pop Loc is great for hammering up hills. The SID is very light, and easy to setup. They respond well to soaking up the big hits and the small stuff too.
The UST tube less Schwalbe on the back has been needing constant pumping up (say once a week), but I think this may be due to the bike shop leaving it flat for such a long period of time. Gotta fix this as the front is fine...
The finish of the Mt Fuji SL is quite nice, and the tubing is quite large in diameter.
Amazing bike straight out of the box, coupled with the full Ritchey WCS and Shimano XT from factory, it is fantastic value, extremely light race bike. Fantastic fun to ride.
This bike is high maintenance (it's a race bike!), but look after it and it will perform. Highly recommended.
