Submitted by HigherG a Weekend Warrior from Sakhalin Isl, Russia
Date Reviewed: October 25, 2007
Favorite Trail:Chamgu Pass, Central Sakhalin
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $1200.00
Purchased At:www.snaryaga.ru
Strengths:nice ride, good component group, LIGHT
Weaknesses:standard fork is a bit weak for my 210 lbs
Similar Products Used:Jamis Durango SX 03
Bike Setup:standard set-up, changing fork to Marzocchi XC 700 SL, also changed saddle and pedals to touring versions
Bottom Line:i've really enjoyed this bike on a multiday trip along old timber roads of Sakhalin island in the Russian Far East, the fork was a bit weak for my weight, and felt pretty stiff running down rocky trails (my friend at 160 lbs doesn't have this problem).. most positive impression though was when I had to carry the bike 3000' up climbing to one of the ridges along our route, it FELT so light...
