Strengths:    2009 model review.

Great geometry and killer parts group for 1200 dollars. Stiff/solid frame but great climber and amazing handling downhills. Reba SL fork. Paint job

Weaknesses:    None to list

Bottom Line:
This is my first 29er and I am in love all over again. This bike truly rocks and is really well built. I am used to running x9 or xt quality on my other bikes and I really ride this thing hard like I am still on my mission!! This x5 x7 components are really smooth/durable, and the Reba SL is a thing of beauty!!! SMOOTH as BUTTER. Great fork and a great bike for the money without a doubt. If you can't afford to go with the Overdrive Pro, don't forget the Overdrive, half the price with the same Diamondback quailtiy. If you want a 9sd drivetrain and good air fork and don't want to rob a bank, look no further than the glourious Overdrive Pro. The gold color is really really sexy looking. 5 stars for paint job, 5 stars for value at 1200 dollars!!!!!

Overdrive Pro (can't find one)

I am pretty new to this. Been riding my cheap entry level Haro since 2003. Used it as a commuter and for some light trail riding. It served it's purpose for the price I paid ($350) but I am at the point where I need to replace many of the components so I can continue to ride it. For the price of a b ... Read More »

Long time MTBR member, back for 29er scene Bianchi SOK - donor DB Overdrive PRO

Greetings - Just wanted to re-introduce myself and share my 29er build. Many many years ago, I was on a Dean Oscar HT and Ventana Marble Peak. Left scene and then about two years ago got into it again with a vintage Ventana El Habanero. Heard about 29er's but didn't really catch the bug until the la ... Read More »

Good Deal on Diamondback Overdrive Pro

Firstly, I'm not associated with these bikes in any way... just saw them on ebay and thought others might be interested. I happen to own the Overdrive Pro and it's a great bike for the money. There are three for $499 + free shipping - a great price if they end up going for that. [URL="http://cgi ... Read More »
