Strengths: Great deal, I loved the thin and pure xc frame, if you don't like the those trail monsters that are out there you better find the De Vinci Massai from 2006.
Superb frame with entry-level components.Weaknesses: The front is very very basic, good for all around use in the city, nothing more than that.Bottom Line: Great bike for great price, keep in mind the fork is a joke...
If you like pure xc frames - this one would work for you.
You can convert it to a total trail machine or to a xc machine. I don't like the new line of bulky and beefy frames and I tried to find the right balance, seems like I have found it.

Strengths: A very lite and easy to ride bike and has the best brakes ever considering that they are not disksWeaknesses: The only weakness on this bike would be that the shocks are a little to small and are a bit to slow on the reboundBottom Line: bottom line is that this bike would be great for all you enthusiastic beginners but dont think that just because it is a lite bike that it means that it will brake easly it can with stand great amounts of wieght but all together this is a awsome bike there is nothing like it
