Strengths:    Great Frame and Price
Pefect setup for me.
Very sturdy with little maintenance needed.
Rolls well and good for climbing
Fantastic entry/intermediate level bike and then some.
After 6 years no real problems and it's used 2-3 times per week on XC trails. (plus odd trip to coed y brenin)

Weaknesses:    Wee bit heavy
Forks weakest part and will bottom out if pushed fairly hard. Will eventually replace these, again lasted 6 years plus.

Bottom Line:
Fab value, very well built and 90% perfect for me.
Only problem is what bike to get next, as I will probably need to spend £1,100 plus to get anything decent and I will keep comparing to this one.

Strengths:    Precise, handles well, brakes and suspension are sufficient

Weaknesses:    Weight - overall, it is a little bit heavy.

Bottom Line:
This is a good bike, and I've been very happy with it. It does weigh a little bit more than other bikes I have compared it to, but it has a very solid feel. The frame is a thing of beauty and the setup is race-ready. For touring, long hill-climbs, and trails, this has been a good all-rounder. The bike is very refined and thoughtfully designed, and I love the way it feels. I even love the way it sounds.

Commencal Combi Disc 2009 - geometry

I cannot find geometry for Commencal Combi Disc 2009. Does anybody have this bike in size XL? Size L might also help. I am most interested in seat tube length (center BB to top of seat tube), effective top tube length and standover height. Thanks in advance for the answers.Read More »
