Strengths:    components are a good value for the price; smooth gear shifting; well suited for novice riders and those with more experience

Weaknesses:    I would have preferred nevegal tires - something that is wider, as I'm not personally a fan of the look or feel of thin tires

Bottom Line:
I got my bike on sale, and it has easily been worth every penny and more. For those who are going to pay retail, I would say that it's probably price fairly. You could find a stronger, lighter, better bike - but not for the price.

Strengths:    Acceleration, Climbing and Downhill Single Track

Weaknesses:    Crank slow/heavy, Wheels IMO wouldn't handle it and the seat is uncomfortable

Bottom Line:
I originally purchased this bike because of a review I read in MTB Action Magazine and it has lived up to every bit of that review.

Because I'm a Clyde with a 32” inseam I purchase the XL frame which currently weighs in at 29lbs 7oz w/upgrades. I knew right away the wheels would have to be upgraded to stand up to my lack of riding style so I went with the Bombshell Fat Daddy's and I also felt the crank was a little slow/heavy and went with the SLX because of a great deal online. Never could get use to the Cannondale seat so now I’m enjoying the WTB Pure V. Keep in mind these changes were personal preference not necessity, thus the five chili’s

Since I’ve purchased this bike it has been nothing but European Single Track, Fire Road, countless meters of climbing and fast Downhills. This weekend I will be riding in my third race of this summer and it has yet to let me down

Lastly, the RST fork has been flawless and maint free since I've had it and I’ve been waiting for it to break so I can upgrade...it has never lost air pressure or bottomed out. This says a lot coming from a Clyde who at the beginning of the summer was 300lbs. I highly recommend this bike to anyone in the market for a Hardtail...300+ miles and still going strong...

Strengths:    Easy to ride and manage. Nice Hydralic Breaks and Good fork travel for your money.

Weaknesses:    Was expecting something more lighter.

Bottom Line:
If your looking to compete its a good starter to begin with. You can definitely upgrade it to more lighter components but for a Weekend warior like me that looking into something more serious in the near future... its a good beginner.

Great construction and sure looks like it will withstand a lot of pressure and stress.
