Strengths: Everything, very solid designWeaknesses: NoneBottom Line: This is by far the best bike Ive ever owned. I do alot of off road trail riding, but I also do alot of inner-city sprints. If you can run into or over it, I e done it. If you can jump off it, Ive done it. This bike takes more abuse than it should and I haven't had to replace anything on it except tires, tubes, and the saddle(the bars on the saddle that attach to the seat post got bent).

Strengths: Light and Stiff frameWeaknesses: Cheap pedals/crankBottom Line: Good budget/entry level bike. I commute to/from work (15kms each way) every day (50% trails, 50% street). On the street, this bike is fast with the Kenda Small Block 8 tires. And yet, hit the trail and traction is really quite good. Climbing with this thing is pretty good, although hard climbing causes alot of fork compression (no lock out). Downhilling and cross country this thing rips pretty fast. I'm 250lbs, and this bike is easily taking the abuse that I've thrown at it.
I did, however, replace the crank and pedals right away as the stock ones are pretty cheap. I plan on upgrading the drivetrain when I can, and I would like to upgrade to a fork that I can lock, but the frame is solid (lifetime warranty). I added bar-ends for climbing (I will never ride without them) and a seat that was more forgiving...
For the price, I would for sure recommend this bike. The disc brakes are simple to maintain, yet provide great stopping power (you try holding back 250lbs down a steep, rocky downhill!).

Strengths: none,really... this is the scam.Weaknesses: bad paint, this alloy is kind of week, easly chips & bents...pretty low end components. Very poor welded, shock is the worst crap I´d tryed.I´m furious about throwing to the trash can my money with this ps!!Bottom Line: cannondale used to be good, this chinese crap is like a walmart 200 bucks bike with some cannondale stickers,it´s a shame for the brand!! Try buying a used one made in usa!!

Strengths: Great fit and finish, well balanced, does everything well...component mix works pretty well for lower end stuff. I have had to adjust the front derailer cable once...thats all, no other maintnance at all. Seems like a lot of bike for the money paid. Feels lighter that the F5 too! 28 lbs now.Weaknesses: Seems compact for a medium...I swapped out the seat post for a larger lay back, longer truvative stem..switch to a truvative flat bar...all three cost $70.00 on ebay and it's perfectly set for me(5'8" 195)! Total spent to date is $620 not bad, now it looks expensive too!Bottom Line: Best bike for under $600...Cannondale didn't skimp on any part like I had been told they do!

Strengths: very easy to ride and does everything well.Weaknesses: breaks wear fast during mud ridding.Bottom Line: I wanted a bike that was under 700.00 that would offer bullet proof performance on the trail, agility and work for everyday running around. This bike does everything you ask of it. The rims don't even warp with bunny hopping.
