Favorite Trail:demonstration forest
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $450.00
Strengths:Same frame has the bianchi king bee. Good forks for the price. It has disk brakes!!!!!!!!
Weaknesses:Does nat have all the same components has the king bee. ( I changed a lot of them and pretty much got a king bee.
Similar Products Used:Older specialized rock hopper
Bottom Line:Great bike for the price, worth a lot more than Bianchi sells it for. Just put better components on it and it will be a top of the line Hardtail MT. Bike.

Bottom Line:This bike is a good one for anyone who needs a starter bike for street or casual freeride. This is a Buy!!!

Favorite Trail:Devil's Lake State Park
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $630.00
Purchased At:Bad Cat Bicycles, Menomonie WI
Strengths:2006 Frame is a tank and can handle nearly anything
Weaknesses:Nonw! This is on tough machine. Though I suppose if you're picky and want a really light weight bike, with just its stock parts it may be a bit heavy for you.
Similar Products Used:Trek 4300 disc.
Bike Setup:All stock right now, waiting for derailers to bomb even though they show no signs of stopping anytime soon. Replaced handle bars and stem just for kicks.
Bottom Line:I have a 2006 Lynx with Sram SX5 in the rear and a 3.0 in the front and a Rock Shox Judy fork for starters. Hayes disc brakes and WTB everything else really make this bike a sweet ride. With trigger shifters I'd recommend this bike for anyone because once you burn out the original derailers and everything else, with the way the bike is built, its not something you'll want to ditch anytime soon.

Favorite Trail:KT trail, MO
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $500.00
Purchased At:Ozone bikes
Strengths:Decent commute bike, very strong, only got marginally dented in an accident which gave me a broken spine and scapula.
Weaknesses:wheels not responsive enough on turns.
Similar Products Used:kona bikes, trek bikes (similar price range)
Bike Setup:factory standard, w/ 19.5 inch frame. price mentioned includes a number of accesories like rear carrier, bike basket, bells, lights, lock, etc.
Bottom Line:good commute bike, i don't know how it would stand up to the rigors of mountain biking, for the price i paid i feel i got a good deal. only a couple of flats on each tire, which i took care of by using a slimy tube. am planning to fix whatever is wrong with it after the accident, and use it as a secondary bike; for the primary commute bike, i am considering a trek 6500. i have put more than 4000 miles on this bike in 2 years, and it needed just one tuneup for a spoke change and brake tightening. used it in shine, rain, snow, you name it.

i have to add that i did not use the gears a whole lot, chief setting was 2 on front and 5 or 6 on rear derailleurs; once i tried 3 on front and 4 or 5 on rear, but found this setting exhausted me during my 4 mile commute (averaged 15-17 minutes).

Favorite Trail:Oakes
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $800.00
Purchased At:ABC Cyles Liverpool
Strengths:Light, reasonable ride, tyre - Ritchey Megabites
Weaknesses:crap crap forks, threaded headset sucks
Similar Products Used:Apollo Himalaya '96
Bike Setup:'97 Bianchi Lynx with some weird forks (tange cromoly frame), Alivio running gear, Cantilever brakes
Bottom Line:This is a well worn bike but has not stood the test of time or durability. Everything is pretty much dead on the bike, the running gear is gone, the cranks are loose, the threaded headset sucks.... Bianchi should stick to road bikes
