Strengths:    Super light ride, awesome components for the $, frame construction, racy geometry, etc, etc, etc

Weaknesses:    Classic Bianchi mint green color, limited choices on frame size, would have liked more slope on top tube, LX front derailleur, Mavic 117 rims

Bottom Line:
For what I paid for the bike, couldn't have asked for anything better! It's hard to find a good race ready hard tail for under $1750. I still prefer the Specialized frame geometery over the Bianchi's but that's just my preference and the Bianchi does not ride any less for it. However the Bianchi beats out the Specialized in stock componentry and WEIGHT! The Bianchi's mix of carbon stays and Scandium Aluminum frame can't be beat!

Bianchi Super Grizzly - Build 1 - Bash Away :)

Be prepared, several of you will likely hate the way I built this but one of the beauties of things is interpretation. I took a straight forward approach to this which was to utilize the same general build that I have done on lots of the bikes I have. This makes it easy to swap around parts and al ... Read More »

Bianchi Super Grizzly has a stuck seat post

Just purchased an 86 frame/fork with a really, REALLY stuck seat post and stem. I tried everything to try and release them. A few very large persuaders were used like long tubes (for the stem) and a hammer. Are there any methods for removing these parts without damaging the f ... Read More »

1987/88 Bianchi Grizzly

I have been working on this bike for my father in law for about a year while visiting them on weekends and other family trips. He received the bike as some sort of award a long time ago, but always preferred riding his old 10-speed. So the bike was nearly new when I got to it, just really-really dus ... Read More »
