Strengths: good frame for the price, fairly light.
prety solid, will hold together fairly well.
takes a beating.
good looks for the price range.
decent handling for the cost.
Weaknesses: parts set will give out faster.
brakes where on the dodgy side, always squeak.Bottom Line: This is a great staring out bike, more expensive than the low range (K-mart) bikes but not as expensive as the slightly better XC and race hardtails. will give a rider the perfect start to mountain biking as it rides prety well.
But if you ride it hard for too long the lower standard parts set will give out in about 16 months, which is to be expected, but still not great. so good rating for the bike but not for its lasting time.

Strengths: SimplicityWeaknesses: Plastic PedalsBottom Line: I bought this to take travelling and it's great! Really easy to look after with the cable disc brakes and the bike is really easy on the wallet without compromising frame strength. Even though it's such an entry level bike, it has great features. Comfortable saddle, fork preload adjustment, Shimano parts and cable disc brakes.
