Strengths: Superior everything. Comfort, fit, muscle, durability.
Weaknesses: I find that the rear suspension lock-out comes out of position too easily, thereby locking the suspension
This bike is the best purchase I have ever made. I wanted to start downhilling and needed a bike with safer brakes. I really did not know what I was getting when I first bought this bike, but I have had it only a few months and I can't believe the terrain I am going over now. This bike has elevated my riding and experience WAY above what I could have imagined I would ever be doing. Worth every cent.
I'm searching for a bike for my GF. I'm between the Safire and the Nickel (both seems to fit based on the geometry charts).
I don't know what the price for the Safire is in Mexico City, but if they are both similar, here are some differences between both models:
