Strengths:    for the money, Cannondale puts together an amazing bike. The components are great and the geometry is awesome.

Weaknesses:    The seat looks a little lame but it works just fine. Platform pedals would be better than the crummy cage ones that are on there but who care if your going to swap em all out for clipless anyways.

Bottom Line:
I am writing this review for my girlfriend who is always too busy riding her bike... This was her first serious mountain bike and she loves it. Before this she liked biking but didn't like the discomfort that came with it. Now she can ride for hours. It did not take her long before she was tearing up down hill rides and rolling over some pretty serious stuff. I find it hard to believe that there is any better bike out there for a woman who wants to ride everything and ride it fast.

Being the aspiring XC racer, (Note, aspiring) I have amassed a plethora of parts in my garage from upgrading the 29er to the point that I could almost build a complete bike. 08 Rush feminine 2 vs. 08 Rush 4

So, I'm probably going to end up with one of the two of these by the end of the year. I need a size small, so there is no difference in geometry other than trail length. The components look vastly different between the two though (moreso than I expected) and I'm a bit lost. The Rush 4 is slightly ... Read More »
