Strengths:    Amazing Ride, High Quality Steel, Custom Built For My Build, Not Carbon Fiber

Weaknesses:    My wife complains that I spend too much time on my bike. Longish Wait Time For Custom.

Bottom Line:
Although I own some sweet uber geared bikes, I know only ride the green Sycip.

Strengths:    Custom! Great geometry and workmanship is top notch!

Proudly Filipino made!!

Weaknesses:    None whatsoever!

Bottom Line:
The bike rocks!! Spot -on geometry, and great handling!

Attention to detail is second to none!

Had Jeremy build the frame and had it custom painted by Matt of Spectrum Powderworks (white base with the Philippine flag painted on the downtube). Been using this as my main bike for the past few months and the only downside of using the bike is that I need to have better/stronger legs to match the abilities/performance of the bike...

Will be using this bike to race in the 2009 Terry Larrazabal Bike Festival, and hopefully the other bike races in 2009!

Date Reviewed: November 20, 2007

Strengths:    Intuitive handling, ride, and craftsmanship. The welds are perfect and the paint is first class!

Weaknesses:    Not really a weakness but I would preferred to have gotten the frame with Paragon sliders instead of an EBB. But I am happy regardless.

Bottom Line:
Excellent handling frame with the amazing ride that only steel can provide. I wouldn't hesitate to get another Sycip. Get one!!!

So, after accidently releasing too much Nitrogen from my Manitou Metel R Shock in an attempt to improve the performance, the forum and thread searching mayhem has begun. Just to make sure, we are talking about Coil Shocks here. I've seen people say that you can reinflate your shock back up wit ... Read More »
