Strengths: Great kids set up. 25kg kid and the forks work and have done so from the start. All componants work smoothly and easily for the kids
So good I got a second one this year for our 7 year old daughter. The RST fork supplied works fantasically well for my daughter who weighs in at about 26kg. The preload is wound right off and she almost uses the whole 50mm travel. My sons bike has been used well for over a year now and again is still going strong. While a bit more expensive than most 24" bikes, for kids who are riding well, these bikes are light and strong with a great set up.
I'm leaning towards a 13, hotrock 24 bike for my daughter in the next year or so. She has a scott scale junior 20 and it is a good bike. I want to consider the scott scale jr 24. I tried to take the good and take off the heavy...so far so good, but I still have some more tweeks to make for fitment and WW stuff..... thanks to Nino for the format on his sons bike! So far it weights 20.75lbs
