Strengths:    Everything is beefy

Weaknesses:    Chain suck, front tire(2.7) is over speced for the front forks = tire rub

Bottom Line:
Love the frame geometry and how crips, snappy the bike feels on trails and freeriding. Feels it can take any drop that you want to throw at it.

Unfortunately it suffers from chain suck that I couldn't correct. RM warrentied the frame and I now have a FLow2 coming to me.

Strengths:    lightweight, sexy purple powdercoat, beefy aluminum, crazily shaped tubing, lots of gussets and large weld joints especially around the head( I hope this was RMB's solution to all the broken flows) Though everyone breaks these frames I can't see myself ever breaking this bike

Weaknesses:    everyone is on their second or third frame, i guess i'll be a poser until i've broken this frame

Bottom Line:
I bought this frame simply to build up a hardtail singlespeed to get around the city. Now i am addicted to urban riding and a little crack or meth here and there but that besides the point.I have been riding trails for almost ten years but i hadn't ridden park or street since i got this bike but it has survived my transition. The only damage it has taken is scratches on the drops where they kissed ledges as i learned to mount ledges from the side(drunk mostly) I haven't really cased any landings or had any crashes i regularly drop small stairsets and ledges nothing more than 4feet or 6 stairs. I have broken an xt hollowtech crankset, a titec xwing post, and a discmount adapter but the frame is as good as new except the powdercoat i chipped off underneath the drops If you wanna start riding street this frame is a great deal $240 with free easton 31.8riserbar. If aluminum is too weak for your style go get a 24frame.

Strengths:    It has a strong enough frame for doing some wild down hilling, don't go to wild remember it is a hard tail lol. The Dirt Jam comp shocks are great for landing big jumps, it appears like they can take big blows, iv done some hard landing, not even close to bottoming out. Good set up on breaks and shifters

Weaknesses:    the only one i can think of is the chain keeps popin off, not a big deal.

Bottom Line:
Very fun to ride in pretty much all places, strong bike for mad kickers, great stock set up, comfy for riding.

Strengths:    awesome intro into the freeride world loved the bike progressed alot on it. came with a dj3 with steel stanchions which has yet to be serviced and is still rippin on my new bike flawlessly. sweet color.

Weaknesses:    umm well the head tube ripped off on me and just about ripped a hole through my chin/lip stithces all that good stuff. then i got a .243.

Bottom Line:
dont ride park/urban on an aluminum frame if you ride hard actually i wouldnt care if all bikes were made out of steel honestly who cares abut weight when your dhin or freeridin. id rather have a couple extra punds if it means my face doesnt get ripped apart

Strengths:    The bike has a sick setup and everything is great. Everything I wanted on the bike came stock and I didn't need to but anything new things on.

Weaknesses:    Everything's great but the forks that came with bike were marazochi mz comps 3 which are a decent xc fork, but a terrible dj fork.

Bottom Line:
The bike is tons of fun to ride with a great set-up, but terrible forks. This bike can be used for hardcore dj and cross-country, the set-up is kick ass

Date Reviewed: August 2, 2006

Strengths:    The forks through the handlebars are built up nicely. Alex dx 32 rims, super strong. Overall component quality is very good. I can still get up most of the hills because my seat post can be adjusted super tall so I can assume a XCish leg position.

Weaknesses:    Frame welds. Chain keeps on falling off of the larger sprocket, but I was able to fix that pretty good after taking a couple of links out of chain.

Bottom Line:
It looked like the fabricators used too much heat during the welding process. There is a crack wrapping underneath the headset. I will be getting a new frame-warranty. So i am extremely happy. I am glad i caught the crack before it caught me. So after it all, i would still recommend it to anyone who likes dirt jumping, freeride, haulin ass, and doesn't mind a little extra weight.

Date Reviewed: August 17, 2005

Strengths:    Very smooth, fun to ride.

Weaknesses:    Frame is garbage, either the aluminum is made cheap or its design isnt good at all, the frame ripped its brake mounts right off. also it bent my brand new avid rotor. Piece of junk. My friend ripped his derailleur hanger right off the bike, i also blew the stock bottom braket spindle in two. my other friend cracked his headtube clean off. These bikes are for cross country and for posers. unless ur under 100 pounds maybe then u can pull off a 5 foot drop unless u use rear brakes to stop u. USE V BRAKES ON BACK IF U DONT WANNA BREAK THE FRAME

Bottom Line:
At Least Theres Warranty.

Strengths:    light, strong, great geometry (small size) very nice bike. great frame, this bike is just kick ass

Weaknesses:    ....colors but that really doesnt matter

Bottom Line:
dude this bike kicks ass, i was hop up anything under 3 feet almost and this bike helps alot. digging for speed is made easy witht eh frame geometry and incredible weight (4.5 pounds). rides well with any fork 5 inches and under. ive done a six foot drop to flat withit and it handled it just fine even better than my old sasquatch. overall this bike kicks as on the dirtjumps, streetriding, and just overall freeriding. awesome frame for awesome price. i would definatley recomend this

Strengths:    Awesome components for the price, strong frame

Weaknesses:    DJ III- 'nuff said, Chain Suck

Bottom Line:
This bike handles amazing for DJ and 4X, and, after putting on the above components, this bike handles the downhills suprisingly well. The HA stock is a little steep for freeriding, but upgrading the fork to a longer travel one fixes that. I have absolutely no regrets on this purchase.

Date Reviewed: February 5, 2005

Strengths:    good parts spec, easton frame, maxxis tires, hayes brakes, marzocchi DJIII sucks up hits well, rims are really strong

Weaknesses:    needs chain guide (suffers from bad chain suck) also my fork is getting grooved out under cornering from the too big tire on the front

Bottom Line:
this bike is excellent, perfect for dirtjumping. not bad on downhills, and is able to do XC too. price and spec are good...an overall excellent bike. if you dont have money for more than one bike this can handle everything you throw at it.

Weaknesses:    chain leg remcommend chain tentioner
it may set you back five hundred but its worth it in the end!!

Bottom Line:

Date Reviewed: July 25, 2004

Strengths:    frame geometry is amazing for freeride/downhill... it will stand up to the dirtjumps, urban, and drops that you will want to do. Stands up to downhimm but headtube geometry isnt angled enough(still fun to ride DH). Stock fork sucks, but frame is compatible with anything up to 7 inches i found.

Weaknesses:    stock parts, other than that none

Bottom Line:
great bike, quick on the XC but will hold up to the downhill/drops that u put it trough... very strong welds, and thick tubing... GREAT BIKE!!
