Strengths: It's a tank and will take anything you throw at it whilst still being a more than capable climber - it's as happy doing XC as jumps or DH and never squeaks in complaint. Juicy 5's and huge rotors are more than capable of stopping even the biggest riders. 160mm bolt-through Fox Van's are rock solid and outperform a lot of triple-clamp DH forks. Very solid power transfer.Weaknesses: Err... stock Race Face bash ring is quite easy to bend, bars/stem/seatpost aren't the greatest, Headset is crap - replace immediately. Wheels are a bit heavy but are a good match for the rest of the components. If you only like riding up hills, this probably isn't the bike for you. Weirdo. :)Bottom Line: Massively confidence inspiring, lively, bomb-proof, low maintenance all-rounder and by far the best hardtail I've ever ridden - it sounds like a compromise but you really can throw anything you want at this bike and it'll lap it up.
Top notch components where they count paired with easy upgrade options where Orange have kept the cost down - you need something to upgrade after-all :) If your legs can take the pounding, this bike negates the need for a skill-amplifier/full susser on most UK trails and you'll be having a lot more fun in the process.
