Strengths: handles jumps and drops well, pedals pretty well too. suspension feels great

Bottom Line:
this is the favorite in my stable and wont be replaced until it dies. i snapped the chainstay and took out most of my rear end in doing so, 178.99 for a new one from canada. steerer is bent and ruined the crappy stock headset but the frame is fine. this bike takes quite a beating and at 46.1 lbs it should.

Strengths: Hand welded frame will not break! Its short and easy to throw around corners and yet is extremely stable at high speeds. Even though its a pretty heavy bike it can still climb back up the trail that u just bombed down. it can climb really well for a bike of its size.
It can take jumps, drops, and rock gardens with ease and style.
Weaknesses: The stock Fox DHX 3.0 is to small for my 200lbs so all i needed to do is switch it out for a Marzocchi Roco World Cup and I've be riding a ride that can take anything that I can throw at it.
The stock rims are so-so. they come un-trued fairly easy so you just have to check them after any big ride.
Stock seat sucks.
Bottom Line:
This bike is a great tool for someone like me who is fairly new to the freeride/DH scene. Its strong reliable and can definitely take a beating. Bottom line is that if you're looking for a good freeride/DH bike, turn to the Rocky Mountain Switch. It wont disappoint.

Strengths: Great bike overall but mainly the frame, rear shock, wheels, cranks but not bb. Great for climbing too. Handbuilt locally!!
Weaknesses: Seat sucks, stock headset, no chainguide, Tires, pedals (unsealed bearings), bb (already has some play), Fork (as it comes stock, but can be made to work well) Hayes Nines are ok. Oh and why have stickers with signatures that wash away?
Bottom Line:
This is an awesome rig! I love this bike, it really takes anything I throw at it. I like being able to climb now with the dual rings up front, beats having to mostly push my A-line up the switchbacks. I'm planning on upgrading it further but for now it really runs solid.
Things to watch out for are spokes on the tech built wheels that come lose pretty fast so it's a good idea to check them often, and also the paint seems weak and easy to scratch through.
I'd recommend getting a Switch if you find one, but this model because of the standover advantage as opposed to the older frames. I originally wanted to get this bike new but it was way too expensive, even the 1.0 was almost $2900 cad with tax. So I bought a Bighit 2 instead with which I wasn't impressed (ran like a bucket of bolts). I luckily found this pretty much brand new one recently for half the price and so far i'm really happy with it, a wicked freeride rig! Get one!

Strengths: it is a beast! it hammers down the mountain and then you can still pedal your way all the way back up the hill! it is reasonably light for being able to nail everything that trails can throw at you, and again you can still do some pedaling on it.
Weaknesses: none that i have found so far
Bottom Line:
it is the best bike that i have ever owned. it will not break no matter what, those canadians know how to weld a frame, and it can take whatever you throw at it. buy this bike!!!!!!
Bike Setup: fox 4.0, marzzochi 66 RCH's shimono everything. except for rims and wheels.

Strengths: Everything! I love this bike. I can beat my friends down the hill and then pedal back up while they push their bikes. It doesn't feel like a big bike.
Weaknesses: The drop off triples that come with the bike are lame. Swap those out with a descent fork and it's a beauty.
Bottom Line:
Get it!!! Get it and then laugh at your friends like some kinda 11 year old bully, cuz they don't have it. The bike is sick!!! Did I say to get it yet?

Strengths: Very stiff rear end. Short wheel base makes it easy to throw around,unlike my heavier & longer demo 8. 7" front and back.
Weaknesses: stock bomber tyres arent the best when its a bit greasy.
Bottom Line:
I'm loving it!! So much more livlier & flickable than my last bike. 7" of fox plushness front & back equals solid & reliable smoooth travel. A great freerider thats surprisingly not too heavy for a short hit of trail riding. you know you want it!!

Strengths: Burly, Hairy Chested Silver Back Gorilla Bike. Takes Drops, Jumps like a Hummer Truch with air bags, Rails turns with predictable slide.
7" of rear Travel
Priced ridiculously low for a hand-made CAD bike. Take it from the box, air up the tires, set pre-load up Front Bomber Drop-Offs (Cheap) and Fox DHX Coil out back; Thump your hairy (or shaved) chest and bomb down anything you can stomach.Roots, loose sand , fallen trees, rooftops, etc. Once you get to the bottom leave it in the big gear up front, raise your damn seat and peddle the gorilla back up. Seriously. The damn thing climbs, well you climb but it doesn't fight the feelin'. You better not stop spinning. The payoff is body builder like quads. It feels alot stouter than my Nomad but peddles just as well up hills on tricky technical terrain. Now if you don't like to sweat, you can always hikeabike, but this bike gives you a choice. Its weighs about 2 sacks of potatoes and a 6-pack of Sam Adams, but again I haven't put it on a scale.
Weaknesses: Stock Marz Fork schrader valves crack when you tighten them. Then again, thats always a good reason to upgrade to a Marz 66 RC2H 180" right?
Bottom Line:
Burly, Hairy Chested Silver Back Gorilla Bike. Hummer Truck like sturdiness, Jeep like value. Best bike for me in terms of something hand-made, able to bomb. Compare to Intense or Foes and not to take anything away from these playalistic manufacturers, but you get the picture. 5 Habeneros for Value--Can't beat the price 5 Habeneros Overall because even though front fork will be replaced 1-month after purchase, Marz is givin me full credit and a price reduction on the 66. --Keep the good feelin'--
