Strengths:    Good geometry for a Dirt Jumper. Quality RM frame. Appears to have good lateral stiffness.

Weaknesses:    This bike is loaded with junk components. They could've attempted to save a little weight somewhere.

Bottom Line:
This is a decent entry level full suspension bike. Don't expect to use it as a cross country full suspension because the dirt jumping geometry is not meant for climbing.

Strengths:    smooth on the trails, corners great, soaks up a lot for a 5 inch travel bike; thing practically jumps itself, comfortable off the lip and in the air; easy to throw around, good geometry for FR/DJ

Weaknesses:    components (low quality der., shifters, brakes); bushings/pivots don't stand up well to bumpy downhilling, rear triangle starts to get loose, needs to be tightened regularly

Bottom Line:
it's a fun bike to ride around, feels good. if you're looking for an entry level freeride or all mountain or a great dirt jumper for a relatively low price, this is your bike.
doesn't stand up to serious DH over long term, though it will handle most of what you can throw at it. doesn't climb very well for a mid travel bike, the geometry really isn't designed to pedal uphill, but not many 35+ pound freeride bikes are. with some component upgrades it could make a pretty good all mountain bike though.

Strengths:    This frame corners all by itself. Its crazy. On smooth downhills, its as if Im just a passenger giving commands. Not bad over the countless rockgardens on the trails either. Even in & outta the rgs occuping the fast corners. Cuts through em and stays stable at speed.

Weaknesses:    Somehow the plush directional ride doesnt transfer to uphill. Oh so Slow. Thats expected with this type of frame I reckon.

Bottom Line:
I love this bike. Only a downhill specific bike would treat me better bombing the rugged mountains around here. Also only a downhill specific bike would treat me worse on the uphills. But who cares about that? You gotta pay to play. If only I could find a girl that makes me feel like my Rocky Mountain Flow FS does. Best drug ever!

Strengths:    very strong frame, good suspension and lots of it great dirt jumping bike , can downhill but not super rough stuff more than enough for local trails tho brakes are pretty good along with most of the components

Weaknesses:    the brakes bleed and you have to get new hydraulic fluid put in,front shock is a little soft, the rims are handmade but are not as strong as i thought they were going to be worth upgrading to better rims and deraileurs

Bottom Line:
great all around bike not to expensive great bike to upgrade cuz the frame is so strong and reliable.

Strengths:    Strong and relatively light. It's just a beauty to look at and ride. Even with me at 250lbs, this bike does great. It's good in the single track and has taken some 2+ ft drops in stride.

Weaknesses:    Even though they are fairly beefy, I would like a little more adjustability in the front forks, but it's doing ok so far. I'm just used to an air shock (Reba SL)

Bottom Line:
I picked up this bike because I'm looking to ride some of the more rocky mountain terrain out here in AZ and it just looked painful on the HT. The price was great and the bike just gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

I'm riding alot of single track and figured the bike wouldn't do well, but it surprised me. It handles the twisties nicely, and I'm not afraid of taking in the rough stuff either. Overall I highly recommmend this bike, especially at the <$800 mark!

Strengths:    Canadian built frame is extremely durable.

Weaknesses:    I hate have having to bleed the brakes.

Bottom Line:
This bike is killer. Easy wheelie machine pops right up and goes. Takes the licks and keeps on ticking.

Strengths:    the bike is very durable and and perfect wheight for a nice single track run, a day at the skate park or out riding the local trails and jumps. very good front suspension perfect travel and very low maintnence.

Weaknesses:    you can only ride in a high gear so it takes some time to get used to.

Bottom Line:
The bottom line is that this bike is simply awesome. i like to do alot of trail riding and like ladder bridges with alot of drops and courses like that. so it gos to show that you dont really need to go out there and buy an expensive down hill bike to do freeride this bike is what ive been looking for all my life

Strengths:    First of all this is an update of another review on this bike that i left. This bike is awsome it is so light compared to other bikes i tried. The fork is great. the tires are great but wear out farely fast and in my opinion are expensive to replace. This bike is awsome. BUY ONE!!!!!!!!!

Weaknesses:    not many except for you have to pedal faster than other bikes to go the same speed so it is a little more tiring but you get use to it.

Bottom Line:
This bike is awsome but could have better components that keepup with the frame. The brakes are good but squeek sometimes but that isnt a big deal. I do alot of urban riding, dirt jumping and getting into freeriding. This bike is awsome and a blast to ride. you seriously need to BUY ONE!!!!!!!!

Strengths:    Beautiful frame! Bike is great. Easy to wheelie!

Weaknesses:    Front brake is IS only, so Manitou fork is out of the question. Components are not great (You'd expect better on a bike of this price and caliber).

Bottom Line:
This is a great bike. Five inches of functional travel makes it perfect for XC and FR. Great All-mountain machine! Other reviewers of RM prducts are right, when you buy a Rocky Mountain bike, you buy it for the frame! Stock components are not up to par with the frame.
