Strengths:    Excellent durability which, considering my weight (> 100 kg) is really unbelieveable. No cracks whatsoever. Very easy to ride and very handy.

Weaknesses:    None for me

Bottom Line:
If you come around one, buy it, you won't regret. This bike frame is worth it

Strengths:    Well, it is a Nicolai frame so the manner in wich it is built is superb. Easy adjustability, the stiffness is great and it just looks amazing. The bike is really forgiving and easy to ride (with the proper shock set-up).

Weaknesses:    Still haven't found one really...

Bottom Line:
Well, if you thinking about about starting a new downhill or freeride carreer you should look into the Nicolai Bass. Obviously it is not made and sold new anymore, mine is second hand also, but that doesn't matter at all. The build quality is so good it looks and feels like it can go on forever. Make sure you use a good shock and fork and set them up properly, You'll fly downhill like the best of them.

Strengths:    nicolai!! the masterpiece of frame in the world.
polished frame design and anodized color.
a.p.a single pivot systmem allows me to jump without any concern. and its incredable welding mark!!!!!!!!!! what an art.

Weaknesses:    it needs patience. if you wanna get your own nicolai frame that will be only one of the world...you need to be a patient man,.and the rear shox fox vanilla rc propedal is too hard ....feel like a riding a hardtail....

Bottom Line:
Although it needs too may times, selecting various frame color is the another merit of nicolai,
but in my point of view, silver anodized color and black'NICOLAI'decal is the best choice...
