Strengths: This bike is way sturdy with an awesome suspension design. A lot was done for their 09 line of bikes for FR and DH. I also own an 08 mongoose khyber elite. It was a great bike and still is but just not beefy enough. The pinnr frame is hella more stiff and a million times stronger. It has plenty of potential especially with a few upgrades.Weaknesses: The product spec could have been a little better like the pedals and the deore shifters. The white juicy 3's look awesome but need some improvement along with the fox van r rear. It comes with a 300 lb spring so it will most likely be changed by any body doing anything big. I really don't like that shock all that much to begin with. Ive tried spring options with it and still bottomed it all the time. So i went with a roco rc coil. Much nicer for the big hits.Bottom Line: This is a great bike, its ready to be beaten up and also a great price. I love what mongoose has done with their 09 FR and DH line up. So many awesome improvements. I've down hilled this bike, jumped the crap out it, and taken it off plenty of drops as it came rite out of the box. I have made a quite a few modifications to it but who doesnt. I love spending $$$ on my bike. The frame is super strong and well worth the $$$. Its pretty heavy but that's abother thing i like about it. Then you know its durable. You definately can't go wrong with this bike that's why i give it 5 SMOKIN HOT CHILES!!!!!!!
