Strengths: this bike definately brakes the mark between all mountain and Freeride/DH. The bike climbs so well, and manuvers so easily, that you wonder why its even put under the FR/DH catagory that its classified in; but you immediatly understand why they did once you start to decend, jump it, or huck it.. man if their was ever a do-it-all bike, this is it!Weaknesses: Rediculously Underated! This bike should be classed up their with the way overpriced,( and basically the same) Santa Cruz Bullet. but it isn't... and its remarkably cheaper then most in its class, which sometimes deferes people from taking a bike seriously. Sorry to say, but Haro also Spec'd em kinda crappy for production. For a bike frame that has so much potential, they could have done so much more.. I guess there starting to get it right with their 07 production, but if you modify it yourself, you can build a bike that is virtually unstoppable.Bottom Line:
Instead of conguring up some freakish suspension design, HARO took the most simple single pivot design, and developed a bike that outperforms every other new aged 7 inch travel 1.5 compatible freeride bike out there! Believe me, I've almost all of them.
it does weigh a bit on the 40 pound-ish side, but who cares! have you ridden this thing? It pedals better them quite a few All-Mountain bikes! Bunny Hopping is a breeze, over all jumping capabiliy for this bike is fanominal! it I haven't tried gaps or drops over 6ft with it yet, but I can tell you, it will take em all!
Part of haro's problem is that they are generally known for their BMX bikes.. up until recently, alot of people did not know that they produced mountain bikes. But they are finally starting to come around, and be known. they have put out some remarkable bikes., their WERX series XC - DH are fanominal bikes! Definately worth a look.. check em out at www.harobikes.com

Strengths: great design. pedals well up hills and loves the downhills even more. spv makes the bike want to stay low and fast. goes big and doesn't hurt when you land. with a single crown i can x-up that 30 foot drop!Weaknesses: if i buy a new frame i have to buy a new fork as wellBottom Line: this bike rocks. i know they have the designer from santa cruz doing their stuff...so what do you have to loose. the package for the price is unbeatable. the quality is great. this is my 3rd haro with this design only because my friends always want my bike after they have seen it ridden and they have had a chance to ride it as well. so far nothing in 06 makes me want to sell my 05.
