Strength:

Burly frame
relitively lightweight
Not bad uphill for what it is
cheap

Weakness:

Not really anything

First real bike after upgrading from a mongoose blackcomb. Handles everything i put it through and demands more. Serves as a great aggressive trail bike. Pedaling up hills aren't as bad as i thought considering it's old school and has over 6 in. of rear travel thanks to the fox propedal vanilla shock. Paired with a marzocchi 888 it bombs down the gnarly trails butter smooth. So far hardly any issues other than the chain ocassionally falling off. It may be a simple bike but it works :). I can't really ask for more out of a bike

Strength:

Great stock components the frame is super strong. The rear suspension on mine (RockShox Deluxe) is amazing! I got a killer deal on it.

Weakness:

In my opinion the frame is a little unattractive, but the riding is great! I would also say that the handle grips, and bars are a little bit awkward for me, it just doesn't seem like everything is in the right place. Who knows maybe I just need to adjust some things.

Great bike if you're looking to buy it's a great purchase

Strength:

Plush travel, strong frame.

Weakness:

Terrible Narrow rims given 2.4 tires with it. Quality of rims bad (WTB) on my 2001 XTS 3

Great bang for buck. Plush travel, wish I had stronger springs (sag would probably be little less and closer to optimal) on fork and rear as I weigh 210, but I don't huck but do ride hard, so this has been a fantastic trail bike. I'd buy high end Diamondback again, for sure.....they get nicer and nicer every year (of course the are closing the gap price wise with the boutique brands....)

this bike is sick! it can resist all the bumps and jumps. the frame is really strong.

Weakness:

the brakes are kind of cheap. when you use it for like a year, it brakes down.

this bike is the bike you can depend. diamond is kind of a crappy company, but you can depend on their freeride/downhill bikes!!

The bike has a very Beefey frame. the suspension it great it can take over 5 feet to flat without bottoming out.thats all i have done so far. i have only had it for about 2 weeks. rear shock has nice adjustments. great crancks and handle bars. Very nice brakes. tires and wheelset has very good traction and has great traction.

Weakness:

no chain tensioner=floppy chain. the seatpost is to high, but that is an easy adjustment. loose grips. but that is probally my fault

this is a sick bike for tyhe money. it only cost me 1 grand. can take the big hits. easy to pedal. Plush suspension. it is also not to heavy. and if people give you crap about buying it from gi joes or that its a diamondback tell them to go be a fred. GO BUY IT IS A VERY AWESOME BIKE.!!! STRAIGHT UP

Strength:

This bike was built solid from the ground up. The components are worth the money and with nearly 6.5" in both front and rear, that's plenty of travel.

Weakness:

Could use a little hotter grips, but you know, i'm not complaining.

For the price, this bike is the hottest thing out there and if your looking for some help riding downhill, you found it. Solid bike that can withstand most anything you throw down, definately worth giving a shot. Great bike that may go unnoticed, but now you know.

Strength:

great value, good stock brakes

Weakness:

fork sucks for drops bigger than about 5 feet, seat is too high for real freeriding, stupid adapters for 10mm frame dropouts makes the back wheel move aound

its a good starter freeride bike, but once you start to do some jumping and drops you realize the suspension equiped is limited and you will bottom out routinely. Too heavy for a real trail bike. This frame is pretty badass but with a better fork and chainguid this bike would be pretty rad

Oh my god, everything, this thing is a beast! I usually hit 5-10 footers, and the frame handles it with near perfection. Ocasionaly though, I hit a 15-20 footer, and even though the frame bottoms out ( i'm a big guy at least 190 lbs)it takes it in stride. the frame is awesome, the design is unique and unbreakable

Weakness:

nothing yet, this is the real deal, diamond back sure did their homework

if you need a strong frame and are a pretty big dude, this is the bike for you. its fairly light, yet as strong as bikes that weigh 10-15 lbs more (2004 big hit comp). The big hit comp (2004) is nowhere near as good performing from small things to huge hits. Sure it may have more travel, but its quality of travel that matters, not quantity. anyway, overall a steller bike for the buck, in fact, it rivals bikes that cost upwards of $3500, and i'm dead serious. i used to think more expensive and bigger is better, not true. Just take this thing for a ride and you will be a believer!

this is the best bike ever. i'm fat and it still does 6fotters to flat without breaking. like this one time, i didn't really want to hit this drop, but i'm pretty hardcore so i went for it, and i lnaded it perfectly, thanks to the bike, which is the best ever since its mine.

Weakness:

nothin, its the best ever because its mine

this is the best bike ever, it doesn't break if your fat and soaks up the bumps good. the frame is soooooooo cool, all those bars that aren't really needed makes it look awesome. i can bottom the fork out off a 2 footer and it doesn't break, YEAH!! my old super raven broke when i did that, it was carbon fiber so what do you expect when your fat and hit a 6 footer to flat with a carbon fiber frame? great bike, actually make that the best bike! good for all types of riders, but especially for those who are fat and go huge! later
