Submitted by HermanH a Weekend Warrior from Haifa, Israel
Date Reviewed: January 30, 2009
Favorite Trail:Dirt Merchant to lowe A-line
Duration Product Used:Tested or demo'ed only
Strengths:Takes 6" drops very well, stiff, predictable.
Weaknesses:To harsh on small stuff, though this may be due to setup, Heavy - all part of the price
Similar Products Used:'06 Bullit, '05 Enduro
Bike Setup:Stock: Vanilla R and Totem, juicy 3, who cares about the rest.
Bottom Line:As I only rented this bike, I can only give my short term impressions: After 3+ hours of downhill at Whistler, my fingers were going numb, as I mentioned it leaves something to be desired in the small stuff sensitivity. On the other hand it took the big stuff well, never felt a complaint or bottom out, horst-link is always very active.
can't say much about climbing ability, never climbed with it, it felt quite heavy on straights.
