Strengths: Bomb proof grouppo. variable suspension geometry allows this 33+lb bike climb like a dream. Well balanced fast single tracker.Weaknesses: Came with a set of the shimano pod shifters. They shift well but the brake leavers are wimpy and i can fell the flex when hammering on the brakes. Have concerns of the durability of the shifting pods. Bike is still a little on the heavy side.Bottom Line: Friend at a shop owned it and let me take it for a test drive. I wanted it after the first ride but took it for a few more test drives till he was ready to sell. Compressing the front sherman shock and extending the rear talus shock changes the geometry eliminating front bob allowing you to climb the steepest of hills that normally you would only climb with a cross country bike. SPV shocks are amazing. Have not seen another bike out there yet that rivals the stock component set up that came on the banzai. Fast single tracking is amazing on this bike - it is well balanced and can be thrown around with ease. This bike will make you want to ride more and ride harder. I live in the mountains and this bike takes it all. It is going to make me a better rider. If you have a chance test drive one today if you are in the market for a wicked free ride bike that still has cross country capabilities..

Strengths: Solid bike. all components tuff as nails love the saint stuff (not only strong but pretty as well)on my first ride I hit a stump with the rear derailer at about 5 MPH that stopped the bike dead and spit me over the bars,I'm sure it would have riped a regular hung derailer right off, after I brushed the dirt off myself just got on and rode, not even an adjustment was needed. This was the first of many tests that the saint components passed with flying colours. Smooths out the roughest trail for us old guys(46 going on 15)and makes jumping possible for us old guys(I'm sure it would work for the not so old as well or better.Weaknesses: Would like to see an 8" front break and 20 mm front axel
I tried emailing Devinci to clairify directions from thier techical manual that I didn't get with the bike(download from the internet) no reply in like 3 or 4 weeks, very disapointed.Bottom Line: This bike instantly transformed me from a 5 or 6 out of 10 to a 7 or 8 out of 10. Jumping roots, logs and steps I wouldn't even look at with my cross country bike. No more walking through the rough stuff, just keep the speed and get light in the sadle.
I can't say enough about this bike, it rocks!

Strengths: All Mountain Forks, components and frame. Devinci wasn't kidding around with the spec.Weaknesses: Haven't found one yet, which is surprising as I am rather pickyBottom Line: At 230Lbs I dish out a lot of punnishment to this fair steed and no complaints from it or me. It just keeps on ripping. Takes on all the different trails in Ontario. Nasty, rooty, rocky, muddy steeps of single track. Handles the tech downs better than anything I've seen. One bike for all styles. It won't let you enjoy Hardcore XC racing and will pucker you up if you want to takle 10ft+ drops but eats everything inbetween leaving nothing but smiles.

Strengths: home grown in Quebec, price competitive with the Big Boys out there (big "S",giants and the rest.).Weaknesses: Lack of exposure but it's starting.Got to love there adds in MTBA in bed with heart rate monitor and the guy with the cast and S.P.D. cleat.Bottom Line: Road tested these bikes all on the same day in Vegas(bootleg canyon),and it wasn't your typical parkinglot test drive.Honestly,DEVINCI's set-up at that demo day may have been small but the ripples in the lake went far on that week-end for them. They had to compete with the big brands but they never had to beg for people to try their bikes.Actually I enven had to wait twice for one.Anyway I liked the bike so much I reserved mine once I got back home. Bottom line?Well, went out riding it on the first day off spring with 6" of snow (hard pack)and it was snowing too.Must say one thing about the brake/shifter and SAINT derailler.Under load it shifted like nothing I've ever tried before.I remember when rapid rise came out,I said why?(even at seminars people were bit@ing at it.)including myself even if I hadn't even tried it,cause I was just repeating read reviews.Trying it will change your view of it.Oh yeah, remenber GRIP-SHIFT?Thought they said rapidfire(or trigers)was no good?? What's that song again from ALANIS?...IRONIC.
