Date Reviewed: May 29, 2009
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $3500.00
Purchased At:Top Gear Cycles
Strengths:nice compact frame, feels like a dirt jumper. wickedly smooth suspension, ive fallen in love with marzochhi components. love the geo, the handling and the looks. so easy to throw around in the air.
Weaknesses:juicy three brake. had to bleed them 3 times
Similar Products Used:turner dhr, demo 7, jamis parker, trek remedy
Bike Setup:marzocchi roco shock( with 600 fox spring), 66RCV forks, juicy three's, sram x7 shifter, x5 deraleur, sun ringle single track rims, maxxis minion tires
Bottom Line:this bike is the shizle. it jumps so easy, the 180mm travel is no hinderance at all when bunny hopping. wicked fun bike. defintly recommend it to people who want a bike thats playfull but still fast enough for a bit of shredding

Date Reviewed: April 2, 2008
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:Geometry - perfect for jumping, dropping, razzing around.

The travel - 7 inches when you need it, but feels like less when you don't

It weighs 40lbs stock but pedals really well, probably due to the High Rollers fitted as standard.

Ultra Short seat tube and short chain stays
Weaknesses:Stock cranks - Truvativ ruktion - useless, commencal bars - heavy.

Seat in its lowest position buzzes the rear tyre on full compression

66 RCV stock fork takes big single knocks well but not so clever on repeated hits. Lack of compression adjust

Roco R shock has rebound only
Similar Products Used:VP free, Blur 4x, Cannondale Prophet (super heavy freeride guise)
Bike Setup:Mostly stock -
Ruktion cranks broke replacing with Saints
Commencal Chain guide replaced with E13 RPM Orange LG1 because I want to.
Commencal bars too heavy replaced with Husslefelt
Bottom Line:This ride is great. All down to the angles. Tagged as Cedric's slopestyle bike, but really a pure pratting around in the woods bike.

After so much VPP action, Single Pivot is the way to go.

More like a Bottle rocket or Intense SS than a VP free.

So much snap, crackle and pop.
