The younger rival sibling of the Elite9 - and just as potent in its own way - the Zed8 has a single curved top tube, 8 inches of rear travel, and is specifically developed for both extreme freeride and downhill applications.
The Zed8 is built burly and with a 1.5” headtube, and a single crown fork you’ll be crossing it up with the best of them!

Strengths:
Looks Sick in white
Two rear shocks ie endless adjustability
Reasonably light
Pedals like a hardtail and floats over rocks
Drifts really predictably
Super slack head angle and huge standover
nice kink in the top tube (makes can-cans etc easier)
Weaknesses:
Only a small issue with chain coming off but that was fixed with a bit of tinkering around with the guide. First shock sometimes tops out due to only having a positive air chamber.

Bottom Line:
Sick freeride bike that can be changed to a race bike simply by running either single crown for fr or tripples for dh.
Pretty light for a bike of this nature too. Definatly a good buy!
