from Charlottesville, VA Date Reviewed: August 27, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | Lock Raven | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Beutiful wlding job, unique stickers, perfect paint, nice drop outs, and light! | | Weaknesses: | None so far. Getting a custom frame took about 6 weeks. Waiting for it was a bit tough. | | Similar Products Used: | Bianchi Axis II | | Bike Setup: | Dura ace STI, 105 crank, ultegra deraillers, AC seatpost, Koobi Au saddle, control tech stem, cane Creek c2 headset. | | Bottom Line: | I have been wanting to get a cyclocross frame for a very long time now, but for some reason, all of the cyclocrss stuff is overly priced. Then I found the strong racing frame through the cyclingforum.com page. I couldn't believe that you could get a custom frame for only 600, so I got one, and am very happy with it. Through out the process, I interacted with Carl strong so he knew exactly what I wanted, and although the wait would have been longer than getting a frame off the internet, it was well worth it. IF you are in the Charlottesville area, I would love to show it to you. | Overall Rating: |
