Strengths:    The bike is unbelievably stable and will take anything you can physically chuck at it. Lots of amazingly plush travel. Because of the way the swing arm stays horizontal when the travel is in action, it only mesures 6 but the wheel moves 10.5. The bike has wings and you feel very safe 20ft off the ground aproaching the landing ramp. The bike goes like a rocket especially with a 5th element shock. It holds its speed amazingly. Because of its incredibly low centre of gravity it turns any corner and as i said before makes the bike unbelievably stable! Most people are concerned that the bottom bracket is too low but it is only a centimeter lower than most ordainary downhill bikes. When you are riding the bike you feel as if you are looking down on a welding masterpiece.

Weaknesses:    The seat has to be 10.5 inches abough the tyre or it's going to hurt on harsh landings!! Doesn't like small stuff!!

Bottom Line:
I am a 10 stone, 5ft 8, 17 year old and when I am riding this beast I feel like the Daddy. The 2002 sintesi Bazoka is
"The Dogs Bolloks" Absolute !!!!BIKE PORN!!!!

Strengths:    real plush, low centre of gravity gives alot of confidence, does anything you throw it at and then some, real thick Easton tubing and lenty of professional gussetswhich even have extented welds to prevent propogation of a fracture, and its damn hot too!

Weaknesses:    small amount of vertical play in the rear end this is due to one of the cylindrical bushings being slightly ovalised, I contacted Windwave (the UK distributor) who quite happily replaced it. Only other weakness is you have to put good stuff on this bike to match the quality of the frame which left me skint for quite a while.

Bottom Line:
its F***ing ace and im racing it this year, had small problem but was quickly sorted, if u can get one.

Strengths:    6" suspenshions, hydraulic discs, mavic rims, good parts, XTR, give alot of looks, girls whistle at you when you pass them =)

Weaknesses:    some play in the rear frame, but this is not a very common problem.

Bottom Line:
This bike is fun to ride, "You can jump from the moon to the earth with it" one guy once said, when we had "Day of the bike" in my city, we then jumped three - four metres from one big jump to another equally big jump, but my bolts which held my rear suspension broke in half, as they where not the reinforced type, and the oil in my rear suspension has leaked out a long time ago.

This bike gives you comfort, cool riding feeling, and ALOT of looks!
I worked an entire summer for it, but its worth it when you think about what you have waiting at home for you =)

Date Reviewed: May 11, 2000

Strengths:    This bike is so plush I was riding A 98 K2 Beast and decided I needed to try a full on downhill monster.
The sintessi has turned out to be a better bike on the trails as well as DH it does not suffer from any suspension bob at all and there is no lateral movement in the rear due to the linkages.
The bike has been modified to fit a factory Rock shock super delux long travel shock.
It jumps and rails round corner picking up speed all the time due to the low centre of gravity.
You can adjust everything on it head angle etc.

Weaknesses:    It does not clean or lube itself and I am having problems with vertical play in the rear suspension which I have not managed to fix.

Bottom Line:
I have never been so fast.
